
In an interview with Vanity Fair, clothing designer Ralph Lauren revealed one of his other passions: classic cars. “You can’t drive a painting,” Lauren said. “I drive these cars—they don’t just sit here.”
His impressive collection is held at D.A.D. Garage—named after his children David, Andrew and Dylan. It includes more than 60 of the rarest cars in the world, like a 1938 Bugatti coupe, a 1938 Alfa Romeo Mille Miglia roadster, a 1971 Mercedes 280SE convertible, a 2010 Lamborghini Reventón (only 15 were built) and the only 1930 Mercedes Benz SSK ‘Count Trossi’ roadster ever manufactured, which cost about $2 million.
